Will it cause problems if my 5 year old son keeps sucking his thumb.?

answers 0:If he keeps sucking his thumb. Will it cause a problem? like any dental problems?answers 1:There will be no dental problems, but studies have shown that children who suck their thumbs after 4-5 years old are much more likely to want to suck dick later in life. Whether or not you see this as a problem is up to you.answers 2:Yes his teeth will grow bigger (buck tooth) its also a bad habit that is noot very pleasant.answers 3:yes it is not an old wives tale. it will make his teeth grow differently. and even the side of his face. ask any dentistanswers 4:yes it will lead to a weird thumb not to bad it will just be a little wider then the other at the top and the teeth will need bracesanswers 5:His teeth and lips will purse out permanently. Mostly the top lip. My brother did that. Just tell him what a big kid he is and reward the non-thumb! sucking moments.answers 6:It has caused dental problems but that is if its prolonged passed toddler hood etc. If she seems fine with self soothing its fine she is still young and when she gets teeth she might not do it as much and take to something else like a teething toy . My daughter never used a pacifier she also sucked on her fingers or hand and broke herself of this habit when she got teeth which was 2 days before her first birthday lol. She will sometimes bite on her fingers only in the gum area where she doesn't have teeth she has bit herself with those 4 little teeth to know not to place her fingers on her teeth lol. But she mainly chews on any hard surface toy which helps sooth her gum's just as good or better : ) Also a cool teething tip is you can freeze some of your babies favorite baby food in a ice tray and pop one out when they are having teething pain its nutritional and messy but numbs the gum's better than orajel or anything like that : )...answers 7:Yes! it will. His teeth will start rotting. This is a psychologica! l problem but you need to take him to a therapist to work through this problem but he may never stop so you'll just have to deal with that.answers 8:yes he will have dental problems by him sucking on his finger he's pushing his teeth out forward and when he gets older he will need bracesanswers 9:yes it will damage the way his teeth grow it happened to my i had to get braces which are pricey!answers 10:Yea it will cause dental problems.
