Donnell Mollo: they live in burrows and under sheds and such. they can dig tunnels under fences with out a problem. the only way to permanently get rid of them is to send them to hedgehog heaven.
Jacques Vaquera: Hedgehogs can climb! This is a fact not a joke. They can also get under fences and through wrought iron gates. You don't say why you ask this question. One person who answers thinks you want to get rid of them. I hope this is not the case as hedgehogs are wonderful for a garden. If you have hedgehogs coming in, you are privileged. They will eat slugs, snails and all manner of other tiny things that you really don't want in your garden. Encourage hedgehogs by putting down a saucer of cat food (not bread and milk). Jen Maday: I actually want them to come in and was going to put some food out for them but I wasn't sure if they would actually be able to! get in in the first place, I didnt want to attract rodents
