Is there any water recreation in Denver, Co?

Donnell Nocella: LOL ur in the middle of the country, if u want to throw out a beach chair move back to either coast

Jefferson Sarson: Well, there is the water park in Elitches and Water World in Thornton. The city has 16 outdoor pools.

Percy Seiger: All good choices above...There's also Standley Lake in Arvada/Westminster which is roughly at 100th and Simms. And just in case you were wondering the addresses to some of the other places:Water World (303) 225-1914 - 88th & Pecos St, Federal Heights, CO6 Flags Elitch Gardens (303) 595-4386 2000 Elitches Cir, Denver, CO...Show more

Arlen Decorte: You can go kayaking on the Platte River in LoDo (lower downtown) at Confluence Park

Pei Heatherly: Don't forget Chatfield and Cherry Creek Dam parks. They are state parks so there are small fees but both have beautiful hiking trails and surroundings. Another I like is Barr Lake in Adams county. It is great for birding, or just listening to birds in the early e! vening.http://www.parks.state.co.us/Parks/chatf...http://www.parks.state.co.us/Parks/cherr...http://www.parks.state.co.us/Parks/barrl...If you are up for a drive, go up to Evergreen Lake or Georgetown Lake just off I-70. Beautiful mountains along with the lakes.http://www.evergreenrecreation.com/http://www.town.georgetown.co.us/Visitor......Show more

Jeremy Donohue: There are lakes and reservoirs....Boulder Res is always fun, so is Horsetooth (Ft. Collins). Carter Lake is in Loveland and has a public beach and boating and crap like that. Do an internet search of reservoirs. I think there is also Cherry Creek res and if you are out for a weekend, Pueblo Lake is a blast!! My personal choice is Boulder Res.
