Georgianna Zollo: If you have a yard take him out to play in the sprinkler, or if not, put a little cool water in the bathtub and let him splash with his toys. Make sure you watch him while playing in water of course! With such a young kid, there aren't a lot of things away from home that he can really get into. Sounds like YOU would like to get out! I can relate to that. Is there a park or playground nearby where he can roll around on the grass?
Mercedez Trabue: 11 month olds like things with colors, (either very colorful or just black and white) and small shapes and blocks can entertain them a lot. They also may be extremely facinated with books. if you read them a book then hand them a book they can be looking at it and flipping the pages for a while. If they can crawl, you can crawl around a room and try to chase them or get them to follow you and find you. that makes some babys laugh a lot. If they are just starting to walk, hold their hands and walk a ver! y short distance with them. Be sure to keep an eye on them near stairs and other hazzards. they can be very fast!
