Help Me Choose A Good Used Car!!!?

Violette Vanek: neither, come up to VT way cheaper cars. there is a nice chevy blazer with 150,000 miles on it for $2000 right down the road. Trust me dont buy a used car for that much.I agree with that guy, you should get any car inspected.

Venetta Coulbourne: Neither, both have too many safety and quality issues to even consider buying. Both will get stuck in the snow too easily I suggest a Ford ranger 4 wheel drive.Option 1: 2001 Toyota HighlanderRecalled for defective gas tanks (last I heard gas explodes)Recalled for defective brakes (I Kinda like the idea of stopping)Recalled for bad door locks (Not good when you are running late)See all those recalls in more detain here and then skip this one as totally unsafe: http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2001/toyota/highlan... Option 2: 2003 Toyota Corolla LE ?Recalled for defective axles (ya kinda need those to make the car move).Recalled for defective headlights(Mom I can't see to come home!!)Recalled for bad rear power ! windows (Dang it the rain is POURING down and this %'?@ window wont close)Get more details about these recalls here: http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2003/toyota/corolla...These are not just flaws, bad gas tanks and defective breaks will both kill you....Show more

Eva Lichlyter: Neither, they are both going to be bad on the snow. I would look into something with less mileage as well.

Phillip Modafferi: sell ur carfor a good 2gs then go in and buuy which one u prefer

Stanton Valdivia: Why do you need a car for college if you're dorming? You will be living on-campus. The bookstore, the dining facilities, and your classes will all be within walking distance. If there is no bus system you can still walk or ride a bike wherever you need to go off campus, and for anything further I guarantee that almost all your friends will already have their own cars and can take you when you need to go somewhere. Businesses flock around colleges and surround them because they ! know it will bring them a lot of money. You will not have to g! o far for your junk food or whatever else you might want....Show more

Georgianna Zollo: Get a Honda, they last forever!!

Antonette Shappy: You should get a used car inspection on both cars. It is less than $60 in most places and it will save you money. Once you find out the issues with both cars, you can better negotiate the price down to a reasonable amount.
