Ricardo Rozelle: Not most boats.Only if they get caught up in the prop.There are fish finders, sonar and depth gauges to tell how deep the water is. You can tell if the water is deep enough to ride in usually by color. The critters that live in the water don't get hurt because they can get out of the way, and the force of the boat on the water creates a kind of forces that helps push them down. Snakes however might get whooped on the head with a paddle if I see 'em! (not really, I just don't want them in my boat)....Show more
