A few questions on computer networks...?

Darnell Cutliff: The network works by giving you access to files that you chose to "share" that they are in different computers in your home.So it allows you to have have all the "shared files" not every single file. To share a file/folder (on windows) you will right click on the file/folder then Properties and after that Sharing. There you can configure if you want to share your files!When you connect through a network to a computer, in order to keep the files after your disconnection, you must copy - paste them in a folder inside (eg) your laptop.For further information you can refer to microsoft site (if you are using windows) or to your distribution's irc if you are using Linux.For MacOS I don't have a clue.Hope I helped....Show more
