Reset environment variables in vista?

Douglass Sarley: You can tweak the environment variables, but be careful. Do not delete anything from the list of variables. Instead, change the variable name slightly so it will no longer be recognized by whatever program needs it (but can be changed back by you if you need to), then make a new copy of it and edit the value (with the right name) as needed.1.
