Cuc Gire: You might want to start reading graphic novels like watchmen or v for vendetta. Also you should probably read some non superhero comics like johnny the homicidal maniac, don't judge me :P. Make sure you have good art to your comic and an understandable story.

Sylvie Snetting: read the marvel comic books from the 60s and the dc comics from the 40s.
