Carter Dewater: you don't get your financial aid package until you actually start school.but depending on your school you should be receiving a letter or email on how much money you are expected to get.
Piedad Bassiti: is the summer you talk about for 2009 or 2010? if its for 2009, you may need to complete an extra form to ask to extend financial aid from your application for 2008-2009. this is because when you apply for financial aid, you can get aid from fall 2009, spring 2010, and summer 2010. make sure you tell them you will need the aid for the summer. as far as it comes to how long it will take to process the paperwork, every school is different. some take a week, others several weeks.as i said if you need the aid for this summer 2009, ask about the additional application that needs to be completed. otherwise, rest assured it will all be completed and processed before the fall semester begins.good luck in your studies!...Show more
