How can i pubilsh my poetry..?

Porfirio Cahall: There are lots of magazines that publish poetry. You can find out about many of them in the book "Poet's Market." Your local library might have a copy. You can also get good information at this site:https://duotrope.com/Different magazines publish different types of poetry, so it's good idea to read any journal before submitting your work. You don't want to waste your time by submitting sonnets to a zine that publishes only free verse, or submitting serious love poems to one that specializes in humorous poetry....Show more

Antonette Shappy: very confusing task. search in bing and yahoo. that will can assist!

Marti Declue: Very few newspapers print poetry anymore, to find places that take poetry submissions you'll need to find places that print poetry, read them to see what kinds of poetry they publish and then [and this is the hard part] evaluate yours. The only way to have your poetry published is 1) self-publish, lots of places can do it ! for you, or if you have a printer you can make your own chapbooks 2) enter contests that promise publication 3) submit your work to zines, journals, magazines that publish poetry. Read and follow the submission guidelines.Poetry doesn't have a huge market (though the amount of poetry being published is larger than at any time in history), most print publications are poorly funded or rely on volunteers or students, so your chances of being paid are slim. I find it interesting the number of writers who want to be published but do not support those who publish poetry. How many books of poetry have you purchased in the last year? How many journals do you subscribe to? What do you do to advocate for poetry in your community, to make a market, to cause interest?...Show more

Ofelia Kieck: If I were you ,please research via Google publishers near to you and elsewhere or join a Creative writing group where you will have many a person with great ideas to get yours and their wor! k published too........Hope it goes well for you and good luck! !
