Radiating tooth pain - no dental problems?

Radiating tooth pain - no dental problems?

answers 0:I have on and off pain on the right side of my mouth which gets extremely painful. The pain always arrives within half an hour of exercise but shows up at other times as well. The pain seems to be in all of my teeth on the one side but I went to the dentist and I have no dental problems. I am afraid to exercise as the pain is severe. Please help!answers 1:If you go to get a second opinion, and that dentist also finds nothing wrong, you might ask your doctor if you have a sinus infection. That can definately cause pain in the upper gum and tooth area. Another question you could ask your doctor is about trigeminal nerve pain on the one side of your face.answers 2:I have had many teeth die on me that show no exterior signs. This could mean one of two things. The tooth's nerve died and is now infected. Only an xray wi! ll reveal this. Two. You've had a root canal and the tooth is now infected anyway. In this case dental surgery is needed to clean out the infection. Go to an endodontist, they specialize in these types of procedures. Good luck!! Ask for pain meds.answers 3:might be tiny fractures in your teeth. Usually the result of trauma. Maybe you should seek another dentists' opinion. If the results are similar mybe a neurologist can help.answers 4:You need to go back to the dentist. You quite possibly have a piece of bone coming out in the socket. Sometimes when teeth are pulled, the bone shatters a bit. As for the massive amounts of pain, it sounds like you have dry sockets. The only way to remedy this yourself is to make the sockets bleed again and hope the blood clot stays in place. But, it would be better to go back and get the dentist to pack the sites with some medicated strips or whatever that particular dentist does to treat dry sockets. Use ice packs, stay away from heating! pads. Call first thing in the morning and make an appt....
